Hello Family, I’m Tomás — Midwest raised, California living. Growing up understanding my identity was a huge deal to me. I was told by my Uncle to be proud to be Mexican, My Elders “it’s Mexica”, My Mom “You’re Xicano”, in my teens and early 20’s we all proudly proclaimed we were Latino… and even later in life I discovered I had Yaqui roots through my estranged father. No matter the label, I’ve always known where my heart lives: with my Indigenous, Native, Mexican, Xicano and Latino communities.
This brand, iNDIGENOUZ vISIONZ, is my creative outlet and my commitment. I’ve marched alongside families impacted by raids since the Bush era, and now I’m building something bigger — a future.
Proceeds from this clothing line will help launch a nonprofit focused on:
• Legal aid for working families targeted by immigration raids
• Ending violence against women on reservations & trafficking at the border
• Training all ages in remote tech careers across our communities (I’m a Project Manager 15 years) to provide them with sustainable economic growth
